Overview

Have you ever wondered what it was to live in communism?
What was everyday life like behind the Iron Curtain?
What was the communist view on the Western World?
Having been born and raised in the communist regime, I can share my first hand experiences with you.
Did Hungarians have food? What about those queues? What type of talks were okay and what was considered to be dangerous? What was the recommended behaviour for the party state - and what were the consequences if you were was different? Learn about the secret police and of course its much feared headquarters. Could we go to church? What was the general opinion about the propaganda and personal cult? What about travelling? Where is the nuclear bunker in Budapest and what function does it have nowadays? You will get answers and much more in the tour. We will scroll through the city centre and visit the places that will help you travel back in time to Communist Hungary from 1946 to 1989.
