Our aim with this private tour is to let you discover the countryside and the beautiful town of Gyongyos at the foot of the Matra Mountain and the historic town of Eger, all 1.5 hour from Budapest. On this tour you will have a chance to visit local wine cellars, vineyards and meet the local wine makers at Hungary’s prestigious wine region while sightseeing. You will have a chance to visit the famous medieval castle of Eger (optional)

You will have a chance to visit 2 family-run wineries, taste some local fresh wine, mainly reds. Sample all their varieties and learn about the production and flavours. Wine tastings, cheese and cold plate with private air-conditioned transport.
