The best way to experience wine is to go to the source. We organise visits to all the important wine regions but Etyek is our most popular. Hungary's traditional region for sparkling wines, it bears much resemblance to the Champagne region. In the early 20th c. you could even find Hungarian bubbly on wine lists in Parisian cafes. The limestone soils provide a good opportunity to benchmark chardonnay, pinot noir and sparkling against what you’re drinking back home. Just 20 mins outside Budapest by car, it's the backyard vineyard we all love for a quick wine fix.
